The presence of extra terrestrial life plays a big role in the cinematography of ‘Searching for Aliens’. Above the characters heads, as part of the composition, there is some space reserved for them. Often we see clouds moving slowly through the frame, as an out of space reference. In poetic sequences the camera shows us the sky, desperately looking for a sign of life.
Searching for Aliens was selected for the student competition of the Dutch Filmfestival.
